The drive is good considering capacity and RPM's speed. It's not a workhorse simply because it's not meant to be a workhorse. It's merely for storage.
One downside to the product is that its listing does not indicate it is 12mm in thickness as opposed to the standard 9.5mm. So for those with notebook limitations make sure you find out if it fits first. Now for those gamers upgrading their PS3... well it would work but you might have to tamper with the device itself (might void warranty) to make it fit. Unless you get a SATA female/male extension to attach it to the internal bay which would also work. Good Luck!
