Bought this for parts, burned my external hard drive on a hotplug (newbies mistake) so i get this mac formated maxtor 250 gb hdd, didn't recognize by my pc but when replace motherboard on my burned maxtor hdd, every thing worked perfect, i thought i lost all my information but reading in the internet looking for some clue i found a possible way to fix my mistake, and thanks to amazon i found this item available, hard to find in stores, now perfectly working condition even recognized by my samsung blueray player(bdp 3600) pluged to usb port, and a posible solution put it in an external hd enclosure with a on/off switch.
