The G-Drive Slim is a 500GB capacity hard drive. It was designed with the aesthetics of the MacBook Air in mind - small, lightweight, and narrow. It succeeds marvelously. Weighing in at a mere 1/3 of a pound and about 2/5ths of an inch thick, this is probably the smallest, thinnest, and lightest external hard drive you can buy today.
The aluminum enclosure looks great and the rubberized edges give it a little bit of impact resistance, in addition to providing a nice grip for picking the drive up. I take a lot of pics, and have thousands of songs. I needed a device that was small but could hold a ton of GB, this is the perfect device. Especially for the price.

I wanted a new drive to go with my Air. This one is superb. It is super slim and lightweight. I took it out of the box, plugged it into my machine and I was good to go. Very easy to use and it complements the equipment. Huge difference from my old boxy external drive. Like the logo - imagine that from a Packer fan. You can't go wrong with this drive.
