I purchased this HDD as a replacement in my existing old Dell Inspiron 9100 which is aproximately 8 years old. The existing HDD had appeared to have problems (as it transpired it did not)the new HDD is excellent as a direct replacement and I trust it will give the same service as the previous drive. All the MS Windows, MS Office and many other applications have loaded without any issues whatsoever. This is a good value, high quality HDD.
